New Delhi – Exciting news for aspiring engineers! IIT Delhi’s Abu Dhabi campus is now accepting applications for its second batch of undergraduate students for the academic year 2025-26. This marks another step forward in offering exceptional education opportunities in the UAE and beyond.

The Abu Dhabi campus, a collaboration between India and the UAE, reflects a shared commitment to creating a global learning hub. As IIT Delhi’s only international campus, it offers students the chance to learn in a multicultural environment with access to top-notch faculty and cutting-edge facilities.

Since its launch in January 2024, the campus has introduced programs like an M.Tech. in Energy Transition and Sustainability, two B.Tech. programs, and a Ph.D. program. For 2025-26, the following undergraduate programs are on offer:

  • Computer Science and Engineering
  • Energy Science and Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering

These four-year programs are tailored to meet the demands of today’s fast-changing world, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to excel in their careers.


How to Apply
Admissions will happen through two routes:

  1. JEE (Advanced) 2025
  2. Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) 2025

CAET 2025 Details

  • Two sessions are available: February 16, 2025, and April 13, 2025.
  • You can take one or both sessions, and only your best score will be considered.
  • The test is 3 hours long, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Test centers include Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and New Delhi, with potential additional locations for the second session.

Seats and Eligibility
A third of the seats will be filled via JEE (Advanced), and the rest through CAET 2025. This process ensures diversity, welcoming UAE nationals, international students, and Indian expatriates who’ve studied in the UAE for at least five years.

Early Admissions Opportunity
Top scorers in the first CAET session can secure early admission, with final seat allocation based on merit from both sessions and program preferences.
